Version 4.2.0 is an upcoming update to Splatoon 2 that will be released on 7 November 2018 at 02:00 UTC.[1]
New Content
Stages
- The Reef will undergo renovation, similar to the changes made to Starfish Mainstage in Version 4.0.0.
- A new Salmon Run stage, Ruins of Ark Polaris, will be added.
Weapons
- A new special weapon - The Ultra Stamp - will be added to the game.
- A new sub weapon - The Torpedo - will be added to the game.
- The third Kensa Collection will be released, featuring two weapons sets with the new sub weapon, and two weapon sets with the new special weapon.
