Version 5.0.0 is an update to Splatoon 2 that will be released after Chaos vs. Order has ended on 21 July 2019. It is the last major update for new content.
Changes
Private Battle
Private Battle will receive a new mode called "Turf War (Splatfest)", which will function like normal Turf War but will allow the stage and ink colors to take on the look of a Splatfest. Stage selection options will include every regular stage, as well as every Shifty Station including the Chaos vs. Order layout, MC.Princess Diaries, in day or night mode. Ink color will also be customizable, with every Splatfest ink color set across all three regions being added to a list from where the host can choose from.
