The Berry Splattershot Pro is an upcoming Shooter in Splatoon, first announced during the Nintendo Direct on March 3, 2016. It is one of eight weapons included in Sheldon's Picks Vol. 1 and will be released at Template:UTC on April 13.

Description

The Berry Splattershot Pro is a recolored Splattershot Pro with a different Sub and Special Weapon. With Suction Bombs and Bomb Rush it puts a focus on Sub Weapon usage, whereas the Forge Splattershot Pro's Point Sensors are oriented more towards supporting the Main Weapon.

Sheldon's Introduction Ah, the Berry Splattershot Pro. I've taken the basic Splattershot Pro and improved the setup. Suction Bombs help keep the enemy at the perfect range to take advantage of the Main weapon! And the Bomb Rush can really pressure the enemy's defences, letting you run in and give 'em all you got!" Name Origin

Berry Splattershot Pro is a combination of Splatter (as well as Splat), Shot and the shortened form of Professional at the end. It also has the word Berry as a prefix to differentiate it from the Splattershot Pro and the Forge Splattershot Pro. The word Berry most likely refer to its color scheme.

Its japanese name, プライムシューターベリー Puraimu Shūtā Berī, means "Prime Shooter Berry". It contains the word "Berry" for the same reasons as its English name.
