The Fake Contacts are a type of headgear in Splatoon. They are a 2-star item produced by the Tentatek brand and come with the main ability Special Charge Up.

They can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 2,000 Cash.

Appearance

The Fake Contacts do not change the wearer's appearance in any way, effectively allowing players to not wear headgear while still having abilities in that slot. The icon for the Fake Contacts has a black Tentatek logo on each one, but this does not affect their appearance or lack thereof.

Abilities

The Fake Contacts come with Special Charge Up as a main ability. As a 2-star item, they also have two slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Tentatek brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up and a lower chance of rolling Quick Super Jump.
