Tinted Shades

The Tinted Shades^(NA), or Coloured Shades^(EU/OC), are a type of headgear in Splatoon. They are a 1-star item produced by Zekko and come with the main ability Last-Ditch Effort.

They can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 350 Cash.

Appearance

The Tinted Shades are a pair of sunglasses with black frames. The rims are somewhat round and have tiny metal studs towards the hinges. The sides and lenses change color to match that of the wearer's ink. On the left side is the Inkling text from the Zekko logo in white. Unlike the 18K Aviators, which are only partially mirrored, the Tinted Shades are completely mirrored and opaque from the outside. When viewed from behind, the glasses will appear to have no lenses.

Abilities

The Tinted Shades come with Last-Ditch Effort as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Opening Gambit, Tenacity, or Comeback. As a 1-star item, the Tinted Shades have one additional slot for a secondary ability. Since they are made by the Zekko brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Saver and a lower chance of rolling Special Charge Up.
