Iso Padre (グソクさん^(jp)) is a character in the upcoming Octo Expansion. He is a giant isopod wearing sunglasses, a golden neck chain and a black leisure suit and carries a briefcase filled with toys. He also carries several childish accessories to further emphasize his playful side.

Nerimemory

Iso Padre's role in the Expansion is unclear, but it is shown that he is trying to get to Inkopolis. He also has a relation to the "Nerimemory" (ネリメモリー^(jp)).

These are small tokens shaped like objects from the Splatoon world. These are said to be physical manifestations of Agent 8's lost memories, and can be gained as rewards for beating each stage of the expansion. A status screen shows that there are 80 of them, corresponding with the 80 stages in the expansion. Examples shown are:

• Judd and Li'l Judd
• An Octotrooper
• A squid
• A Chum
• A White Tee
• An Inkling girl
• An unidentified brand logo resembling a clam (also seen in some stages)
• A Splattershot
• Jelfonzo
• A square with a face, possibly a logo.

• Iso Padre's name is clearly a pun on isopod, such as the giant isopod, which he is, and padre, Spanish for "father".
