Template:Infobox gear The B-ball Headband(NA)[a], or B-Ball Headband(EU/OC)[b], is headgear in Splatoon. It is a 1-star item produced by Zink and comes with the main ability Opening Gambit.
It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 300 Cash.
Appearance
The B-ball Headband is a white headband with a thick horizontal stripe that changes color based on that of the wearer's Ink, though it often does not quite match. Towards the front on the left side is a rectangular label in red, black, and white. On the back is a tiny yellow tag.
Abilities
The B-ball Headband comes with Opening Gambit as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Tenacity, Last-Ditch Effort, or Comeback. As a 1-star item, the B-ball Headband has one additional slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the Zink brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Super Jump and a lower chance of rolling Quick Respawn.
Trivia
- At just 300 cash, the B-ball Headband is the cheapest piece of gear with Opening Gambit and is tied with the Tennis Headband for cheapest purchasable headgear in the game.
