Gas Mask

Template:Infobox gear The Gas Mask is headgear in Splatoon. It is a 3-star item produced by Forge and comes with the main ability Tenacity.

It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 11,000 Cash.

Appearance

The Gas Mask is a full-face black mask with a series of straps securing it to the wearer's head. Both the lenses and a thin stripe on the front filter change to match the color of the wearer's Ink, and unlike most modern military-grade gas masks, it has two side filters instead of one.

Abilities

The Gas Mask comes with Tenacity as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Opening Gambit, Last-Ditch Effort, or Comeback. As a 3-star item, the Gas Mask has three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Forge brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Duration Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub).

• The Gas Mask is the most expensive piece of gear with Tenacity.
