Purple Hi-Horses

The Purple Hi-Horses are Shoes in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 1-star item produced by [[File:Zink_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] and comes with the main ability in Splatoon and in Splatoon 2.

It can be purchased from for File:800 Icon Cash.png, from for File:1,000 Icon Cash.png, or from SplatNet 2 for File:2,500 Icon Cash.png.

Appearance

The Purple Hi-Horses are a dark blue-purpleish color with a white Zink arrow on each side. There is a smaller version of the Zink logo above the gray lace, and around the lace is neon yellow. The soles are the same color gray as the laces.

As a 1-star item, it also has a slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the [[File:Zink_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] brand, it has a higher chance of rolling and a lower chance of rolling .

Trivia

• The Purple Hi-Horses were originally called "Purple Hi-tops", and had either or as their main ability; the icon was ambiguous. They were also a 2-star item, and cost File:2,000 Icon Cash.png instead of File:800 Icon Cash.png. This can be seen in an image released before Splatoon was finalized.
  • This suggests that the other types of Hi-Horses may have also been called "Hi-tops".
