Red Hi-Tops

The Red Hi-Tops are shoes in Splatoon. They are produced by the Krak-On brand, come with the main ability Ink Resistance Up and have a 2-star rarity.

They can be purchased from Shrimp Kicks for 1,800 cash.

Appearance

The Red Hi-Tops are a pair of bright red canvas high-tops. The toe and laces are white and the sole is brown with a Krak-On logo. At the top of the tongue is a very small Krak-On logo on a white label.

Abilities

The Red Hi-Tops come with Ink Resistance Up as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of shoes, prevents the wearer from also having Stealth Jump or Bomb Sniffer. As a 2-star item, the Red Hi-Tops have two additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Krak-On brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Swim Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Defense Up.

Trivia

• The Red Hi-Tops originally had Ink Saver (Main) as their main ability instead of Ink Resistance Up. This can be seen in a screenshot from before Splatoon was finalized.
