Safari Hat

The Safari Hat (NA)[b], or Jungle Hat (EU/OC)[a] is headgear in Splatoon. It is a 2-star item produced by Forge and comes with the main ability Last-Ditch Effort.
It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 2,300 Cash.
Appearance
The Safari Hat is a floppy, wide brimmed hat that changes color based on that of the wearer's ink, with the band being considerably lighter than the rest of the hat's dull shade. On the top of the hat is a brown design with a red lobster in the middle, hence the Japanese name "Lobster Boonie". It also has a thin black string securing it to the wearer's head.
Abilities
The Safari Hat comes with Last-Ditch Effort as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Opening Gambit, Tenacity, or Comeback. As a 2-star item, the Safari Hat has two additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Forge brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Duration Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub).
Trivia
- Between the North American and Europe/Oceania versions, the Safari Hat and the Jungle Hat have switched names with each other. The reason for this is unknown.
