Walkthrough

The Octo Shower itself is carried by a group of Octocopters. The player must splat the Octocopters so the shower falls down and exposes its tentacle. The Octocopters are too high to be shot at ground level, you must climb up the various blocks in the arena. The boss will try to keep its distance, and its movements become unpredictable once one Octocopter remains.

If the player replays the battle without using a Charger, Ride Rails, Dash Panels, and Rolonium will be placed in the arena to compensate for the increased difficulty in hitting the Octocopters.

Phase 1

The Octo Shower using a charger weapon.
  • The boss is carried by three Octocopters.
  • The boss pulls out a weapon similar to the Octosniper weapon. The shower head uses a tracking laser that shows where he will fire. He will only fire once with this weapon before using a different attack.
  • The boss quickly flies across the arena while shooting down a stream of ink. The shower head flies backward before he does this.
  • The boss fires missiles that chase the player. The player can shoot these down.

Phase 2

The Octo Shower using the hand crank weapon.
  • The boss is carried by four Octocopters.
  • The boss uses a hand crank cannon that behaves like the Heavy Splatling.
  • The Octo Showers still uses all its attacks from Phase 1.

Phase 3

The Octo Shower holding a Stingray.
  • The boss is carried by four, faster moving Octocopters. This set of Octocopters like to dodge the players shots at the last second.
  • He uses everything from phase 1 and 2, but now he uses a Sting Ray. The shower head can move the laser much more easily than Inklings can.

Trivia

  • When there is only one Octocopter left holding the Octo Shower, they are seen struggling with holding it up.
  • When using a weapon, the Octo Shower has hands with blue rubber gloves on and the plug that the Octocopters use to attach themselves to the Octo shower resembles a bath plug. Both items show the theme of cleanliness - the main theme of the Octo Shower.
  • The rubber duck that sits on the top of the Octo Shower wears a bow that resembles Callie's tentacles.
