Striped Beanie

Template:Infobox gear The Striped Beanie is headgear in Splatoon. It is a 2-star item produced by Splash Mob and comes with the main ability Opening Gambit.

It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 1,500 Cash.

Appearance

The Striped Beanie is a simple knit hat that changes color based on that of the wearer's Ink, with four horizontal white stripes. Unlike the Short Beanie, it tends to be lighter than the wearer's Ink.

Abilities

The Striped Beanie comes with Opening Gambit as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Tenacity, Last-Ditch Effort, or Comeback. As a 2-star item, the Striped Beanie has two additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Splash Mob brand, It has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) and a lower chance of rolling Run Speed Up.
