Splatoon 3
The Grizzco Stringer is one of the Grizzco weapons in Salmon Run Next Wave. It appears to be an illegally modified Tri-Stringer, and has a faster charge time and significantly higher damage, but also has a much faster rate of ink consumption and is difficult to aim. It's optimal when fighting against the King Salmonid to use the Grizzco Stringer, being one of the only weapons with more damage per second than the Egg Cannon. It was first available on 1 October 2022 4pm UTC[1].
Data
The Grizzco Stringer can fire up to nine explosive shots in an irregular spread, arranged in a general line. It has a damage of 150 on each projectile (on full charge) with its nine projectiles for a total of 1350. With a tap shot, it deals 35 damage, making the total damage 315. At full charge, it can splat every type Salmonid with only one charge, except for the Flyfish and King Salmonids.
With a tap shot, the range of the Grizzco Stringer is 150 Units, being 3 lines in the Grizzco training lobby. With a charge, it goes up to 300 Units, being 6 lines in the lobby.
A tap shot uses 10% of the ink tank, meaning the player can fire exactly 10 times until they run out of ink. A full charge uses about 30% of the ink tank, meaning the player can fire 3 times, and charge halfway, before they run out of ink.
