- Main article: Splatoon (manga)
The fan made issue of Splatoon released in June 2015 to celebrate Splatoon's release in Japan. There were diffrences between this one-shot manga and the current manga series.
Changes
Goggles-Kun
- Zink Layered LS → Armor Jacket Replica
- This change may be because of the new features for Version 2.0.0, where you can get rewards from Judd, one of them is the Armor Jacket Replica.

- E3 Demo Splattershot Set → Tentatek Splattershot
- The custom set for Goggles' Splattershot in the fan made issue has an Inkzooka, thus Goggles must have the old Splattershot set from E3.
Headphones-Chan
- White Tee → B-Ball Jersey (Away)
- Pink Trainers → Red Work Boots
- Custom Splat Charger Set → Classic Squiffer
Glasses-Kun
- Vintage Check Shirt → Shirt & Tie
- This change may be because of the new features for Version 2.0.0, the version new gear has released. One of them is the Shirt & Tie.

- White Kicks → Plum Casuals
- Inkbrush → Octobrush (And a few others)
