Sheldon's Introduction
As if the original Splattershot wasn't stylish enough, a special collab gives us the Tentatek Splattershot! Functionally, the weapon is identical to a regular Splattershot. But its fashion-forward form comes with Splat Bombs and the feared Triple Inkstrike special. It's always in style to mix things up, so I recommend this loadout for Splattershot users who dare to be different. Talk about très dangereux! |

Trivia
- This weapon is tied with the Enperry Splat Dualies, L-3 Nozzlenose D, Octo Shot Replica, and Ballpoint Splatling for the most expensive Inkjet in Splatoon 2 with 200p.
- After its announcement for Splatoon 3's Chill Season 2022 update, the Tentatek Splattershot's special weapon was not initially revealed. The confirmation of Triple Inkstrike's inclusion happened indirectly before the update released, as it appears on the weapon's Tableturf Battle card art.
- In Splatoon 3, it shares its set with the Slosher, both having Splat Bomb and Triple Inkstrike. This set is also similar to the Wasabi Splattershot.
- This weapon is Goggles' general weapon in the first two volumes of the Splatoon Manga.
Etymology
'Tentatek Splattershot' is a combination of splatter (as well as splat) and shot. It has the Tentatek brand name as a prefix to differentiate it from the Splattershot. It also denotes that the weapon is a collaboration with Tentatek.
Its Japanese name, スプラシューターコラボ supurashūtā korabo, is a combination of either splat or splash, and shooter. It also has the abbreviated prefix collab to separate it from Splashooter and to denote that it is a collaboration. However, unlike the English name, it does not specify the brand Tentatek.
