Etymology

Inkbrush Nouveau is a combination of Ink and Brush, as well as Nouveau, french for New. Nouveau may also refer to Art Nouveau. The suffix Nouveau is also used to differentiate it from the S2 Weapon Main Inkbrush.png Inkbrush. This trait is shared among the other alternate sets of the Nouveau Nouveau brand.

パブロ・ヒュー paburo hyū is a reference to Pablo Picasso, a famous Spanish Cubist artist. ヒュー hyū refers to Hue. Like Nouveau in the english name, Hue is used to differentiate it from the Inkbrush.
