Mini Splatling
The Mini Splatling is a main weapon in the Splatoon series.
It has a very short charge time, needing approximately 0.33 seconds to reach the first level of charge, and 0.5 seconds to reach the second level of charge. It has more maneuverability than the Heavy Splatling. However, its range is significantly shorter than the Heavy Splatling, with a lower firing duration, only shooting for 0.6 seconds at the first level of charge and 1.2 seconds at the second level of charge. Each fully charged attack consumes 15% of the ink tank capacity, allowing users to fire six full charges before needing to refill. Each ink bullet deals enough damage to splat opponents in four hits.
Appearance
The appearance of the Mini Splatling vastly differs between games. In Splatoon, the Mini Splatling has a green handle and multiple red barrels that are held together with dark green supports. The ink tank is below the gun and the two connect via a red tube. In Splatoon 2, the Mini Splatling retains the same general structure, but the ink tank is more to the side of the gun than below it. In Splatoon 2, the handle is purple, the barrels are white, and the supports are blue. In both games, the ink tank changes color to match the user's ink. In Splatoon 3, some of the supports are yellow and the handle and other supports are purple, and the tank resembles the body of the Splattershot.

Data
- While Main Power Up will increase the number of shots fired, it will not increase the ink consumption relative to the amount charged, making the weapon comparatively more ink efficient.
- The Mini Splatling is a middleweight weapon.
- The matchmaking range is 150. The game's matchmaking system looks at a team's average matchmaking range value, and matches them against a team with a similar average.
- The full charge ink consumption of 17.25% and ink tank capacity of 100% allows players to fully charge 5 times before needing to refill the ink tank.
- This stat can be changed with Ink Saver (Main).
- The Mini Splatling cannot store its charge.

The Mini Splatling returns in Splatoon 3 with Burst Bombs and Ultra Stamp as its kit.
It appears in two missions in Return of the Mammalians:
Data
- The Mini Splatling is a middleweight weapon.
- The matchmaking range is 15. The game's matchmaking system looks at a team's average matchmaking range value, and matches them against a team with a similar average.
- The full charge ink consumption is 15% per shot, allowing the user to fully charge 6.67 times on a full ink tank.
- This stat can be changed with Ink Saver (Main).
- The Mini Splatling cannot store its charge.
- It takes 20 frames to charge the first circle (0.33 seconds) and 30 frames to fully charge (0.5 seconds).
- When airborne or low on ink, it takes 120 frames to charge the first circle (2 seconds) and 180 frames to fully charge (3 seconds).
- The Mini Splatling is not rechargeable while firing.
- When charged to the first circle, the weapon will fire for 42 frames (0.7 seconds), and when fully charged, it will fire for 84 frames (1.4 seconds).
- The firing duration is 2.1 times longer than the charging duration when charged to the first circle and 2.8 times longer when fully charged.
- When firing continuously, it shoots a bullet every 4 frames (15 shots per second).
- When firing while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.086 units per frame.
- When charging, the player's movement speed is set to 0.072 units per frame.
- After firing, there is a 30 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
- Each shot has a base damage of 32, regardless of charge level.
- If a shot is in the air for more than 11 frames after being fired, it loses damage every frame until it reaches 16 damage at frame 19.
- The bullet hitbox for collisions with players has a radius of 0.2 units.
- The bullet hitbox for collisions with the environment has a radius of 0.2 units.
- The angle its shots can deviate while on the ground is 4.0 degrees.
- The angle its shots can deviate while in the air is 8.0 degrees.
- The outer reticle immediately expands after jumping. After 25 frames, the outer reticle will start shrinking, and will finish shrinking after 70 frames.
- The Mini Splatling starts off having a 10% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle.
- This chance increases by 2% per shot, and maximizes at a 30% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle, meaning that it takes 10 shots to reach minimum accuracy.
- When jumping, the chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle is immediately set to 30%.
- Accuracy starts recovering 4 frames after the player stops shooting. The chance to shoot towards the outer reticle decreases by 1% per frame, if the chance is not already at the minimum, meaning that it takes 24 frames to reach maximum accuracy.
- Initial shot velocity scales with charge level. At minimum charge, it is 1.05 units per frame, and at once charge circle or more, it is 1.5 units per frame. Shots travel straight for 8 frames, regardless of charge level.
- After that, the shot's velocity is set to 1.105 units per frame if it is not already lower than the listed value, and it loses 36% of its speed every frame (including the first frame after it stops traveling straight). Once the shot velocity decreases below a certain threshold, it will begin to be slowed less and fall faster.
- Effective range scales from 9.78 units to 13.45 units, depending on charge level.
- This number may vary at different firing angles.

Etymology
Mini Splatling is derived from Mini, and a portmanteau of Splat and Gatling.
スプラスピナー Supura Supinā is a combination of either Splat or Splash, and Spinner. Spinner is due to the fact that the barrels of the Mini Splatling rotate while charging and firing.
