Suizokukaan was a Splatoon-themed special event held from July 15 through August 31, 2017 at the Kyoto Aquarium in Kyoto, Japan. It highlighted the aquarium's ecological exhibitions on squid and jellyfish, sold merchandise and food items themed around Splatoon 2, and featured water gun competitions in which children and families could participate. The aquarium was decorated with Splatoon branding throughout, and featured art of Inklings as temporary signs for each relevant display.

The name "Suizokukaan" is a play on the Japanese word for "aquarium", 水族館 suizokukan, with a double 'a' mirroring the 'oo' of "Splatoon".
