Leaked songs

There are some leaked songs from Deep Cut that include two splatfest battle themes and three solos for each of them. do we wait until the Splatfest Premiere commences? The names of these songs are currently unknown. - Woomy? (talk) 22:42, 26 August 2022 (UTC)

Trivia

hum, for example, Their Japanese song titles are combined Kanjis and Katakanas. this naming method is called "Shiina Ringo method" in Japan. Azoth (talk) 03:55, 22 September 2022 (UTC)

and, the kanjis are not usual using, ateji (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ateji) usage. ateji kanjis and katakanas combination is also popular among vocaloid song titles. Azoth (talk) 04:07, 22 September 2022 (UTC)

New Wave Variant?

Recently, after beating RotM, every time I zoomed in on Deep Cut in their studio for them to wave at me, their reactions are "vastly" different than before: Shiver smiles while waving her fan instead of her idle expression, Frye waves both of her arms instead of the fist pump, and, I forgot the change to Big Man's reaction, due to being focused on the girls' reactions at first. The Crater

Check translation?

Logo variants

I disagree that the logo variants (File:Fuka2.jpg, File:Utsuho.jpg, File:Manta.jpg) in the trivia are actually variants of their main logo. I think that they are different logos  GX_64 (talk)  00:28, 11 November 2022 (UTC)

I just watched the credits again and none of the VAs were in it. I am guessing that the person on Twitter who found it looked at IMDB, since that it what comes up when you search "Splatoon 3 Cast", IMBD can be edited by anyone, so I don't think it is a very reliable source  GX_64 (talk)  01:11, 1 January 2023 (UTC)

Note on the lyrics

Small observation I'm not entirely sure is worth putting on the trivia section yet, but I think may be of note; In the official lyrics, Shiver's lines are written in hiragana, while Frye's lines and lines where they harmonize are written in katakana, and Big Man's lines seem to be completely absent. (I'm aware his lyrics are written out in Liquid Sunshine, of course, and I haven't fully checked threemix due to it being very, very long.)

I'm not gonna put on a tinfoil hat or anything, but It just seemed notable, as barring Wet Floor, inklings have usually had their lyrics written in hiragana. I suppose there is a chance they'll elaborate on this in an interview eventually, as they did with Marina's lyrics being in katakana.

All that said, should it go in the trivia section? I'm still not sure if it holds enough significance.
