The Fake Contacts are headgear in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. They are a 2-star item produced by {} and come with the main ability Special Charge Up.
They can be purchased from Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). and Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). for File:2,000 Icon Cash.png, or from SplatNet 2 for File:4,000 Icon Cash.png.
Appearance
The Fake Contacts do not change the wearer's appearance in any way, effectively allowing players to not wear headgear while still having abilities in that slot. The icon for the Fake Contacts has a black {} logo on each one, but this does not affect their appearance or lack thereof.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Fake Contacts come with Special Charge Up as a main ability when purchased from shops or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, this item can have any other ability normally available to Headgear items.
As a 2-star item, they also have two slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the {} brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up and a lower chance of rolling Quick Super Jump.
Splatoon
Abilities
The Fake Contacts come with Special Charge Up as a main ability.
As a 2-star item, they also have two slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the {} brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up and a lower chance of rolling Quick Super Jump.
