The Pilot Goggles are headgear in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. They are a 3-star item produced by [[File:Forge_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] and come with the main ability Bomb Range Up in Splatoon and Sub Power Up in Splatoon 2.

They can be purchased from Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). for Cash, from Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). for Cash, or from SplatNet 2 for Cash.

Appearance

The Pilot Goggles are a large pair of shiny metal goggles with a dark brown strap. They have clear lenses and a ring of small holes around each lens. They are worn on the forehead, rather than over the eyes.

The Pilot Goggles come with Bomb Range Up as a main ability.

As a 3-star item, they also have three slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the [[File:Forge_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Duration Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub).

  • A UI icon for an older version of the item was discovered in the data files for Super Mario Maker. In this version, all visual elements are black.
  • The Pilot Goggles had Damage Up as a main ability instead of Bomb Range Up in a pre-release build of Splatoon.
