Gameplay walk-throughs

You can write some gameplay walkthroughs if you want. I believe Yawshi Fan has made significant progress on this and you can contact them on their talk page if you want to help them. EminenceTalk 20:24, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

There aren't any gameplay footage of Octo Canyon and Octo Expansion since no one decided to record and add them to the wiki. Everyone can add them. I have made for Octo Valley but didn't do the same for the 2nd game. That's why there aren't any walkthroughs on those pages. Shahar (talk) 00:34, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Poll on main page

I'm a Chrome user, and the poll widget is out of place. It's too large for the mobile interface. Can someone look into that? Thx Yawshi Fan (talk) 23:28, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

Strawpoll.me has its own minimal width and height. If we set over it, a scroll bar will be added. We can maybe set to have that scroll in mobile view but I don't think having scroll bar looks good. There's an option to change to Desktop View at the bottom of the page in-case you want to see the page like you see it in PC. Shahar (talk) 14:41, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

View counters are going away

The page view counters at the bottom of the page in desktop mode are going away soon, so enjoy them while you can! They are being removed due to a technical reason: "putting a reverse proxy in front of mediawiki to reduce the load means that the mediawiki software doesn't see all the hits". No one particular person hands out barnsquids at this point, because there was not enough interest in the movement to go on with it. You can, however, if you feel you have earned it, go to Inkipedia:Barnsquids and follow the instructions there to add it to your user page. Hope this helps! Perhaps. It could be something for the Inkipedia newsletter, which is in production. What type of ffan art would it be? Minimum effort rule

I think we need to define a minimum effort rule for creating a new mainspace article. I don't want mainspace to be filled with hit-and-run, zero effort pages. But on the other hand, I don't want all stubby pages pages to be moved to userspace, because that can discourage collaboration. Does anyone have suggested changes or feedback? Does the subject has enough information to justify the creation of its page or would it better fit in a section or a list? I think minimum effort is to add a section rather than creating a page so creating a page should have significant information with sections that start the idea of them. Dudes, whoah, chill chill CHILL. The reason I made the page was so everyone could edit it and make it the best it can be. FYI, the pages Prinz, Hit, and X-Blood are similar to the Maika page, and people changed the pages to make them good. Do I sound rude? Kind of. It's nothing personal. It's just so when a new page is created it won't seem barebone. Is the subject significant enough to have its own article?
