Moved page

Honestly, a lot of the real people pages are not good and will probably be taken out of the main space here soon. One example of a more complete page is Alice Peralta. There's a filled out infobox, listed credits/appearances, a longer description, and a gallery. Some other pages have links to social media if they exist at the bottom. User page edits

Hello. I notice that you're very interested in hosting videos within your "movie theater" section on your userpage. Inkipedia is not a very good place to share videos in a constant format like this—I would strongly urge using a dedicated social media platform such as Tumblr, Discord, or Instagram to share videos instead of here. That said, if you do want to continue sharing multiple videos on the platform, I've developed a code block that would allow you to make up to 60 video embed at one time at User talk:Trig Jegman/Sandbox. If you decide to use it, change out the links in a lower frequency/do more at a time. The way this works is that the video changes based off the minute count. It reads from the lowest value to the equal sign—I've bundled most of them in five minute increments, but have different sizes to understand how to change the structure and have more or fewer videos. Once again, however, please review the user content policy's main paragraph: We are not a fanon driven site nor a social platform and the majority of edits should be on actual articles, not user pages. Most of your edits over the past month have been user space, and none of them have been main space since Sept 1. This could lead to administrative action in the future. I'm very sorry about my lack of mainspace edits, there just hasn't been much to do lately. I might start working on stubs though. I used that space to watch videos but also show others my interests. Use Show Preview

Splatoon 1 Strategy Pages.

I would like to help with your Splatoon 1 Strategy Plan. I have Splatoon 1 so I can play it and test out tricks, I can even search Google, Reddit and YouTube for supposed strategies and test them out. The only problem is that I own few weapons, but I can at least use the lower rank ones. I am guessing weapons like the Hero Shot and the Octo Shot don't need strategy pages because they have they same kits as Splattershot and Tentatek Splattershot respectively, unless if they work differently? I recently finished 100%-ing each Splatoon game, and since Side Order is coming out in April and I don't really enjoy playing online, I can help write the strategy pages. Sorry for the mini heart-attack!

I sadly do not know how to talk to someone higher up, I just wanted to help because it seems like a good cause. The only problems are A) I don't get to play Splatoon 1 that often, and B) I am only like level 5 or something, so I'll need to unlock the weapons. Something else I noticed was that Kraken doesn't have a strategy page either. Something I am not that good at though is creating pages, but it's mainly because I use mobile, which is not very good. About your Plan to get the Splatoon 1 Competitive pages,

I have created strategy pages for each of the Splatoon 1 Specials, at least the ones that were in the "Missing Page' Category, these being Bubbler, Inkzooka, Inkstrike, Kraken and Bomb Rush.

I only made a basic page with the Table stating their info, the short description, and the titles for the 'Use', 'Synergy', and 'Countermeasures', sections, although with Bomb Rush I have wrote down a couple of things for the previously mentioned sections.

I mainly did this as creating a page can be a daunting task for most people, and it'll be more inviting for people who are experienced at the game to quickly add a point or two. I hope you like what I did! TheYoshiGang (talk) 22:47, 23 December 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback. Right now I'm going to start on some of the weapon Strategies, but since I'm not a competitive Splatoon player I'm just going to write dow the basics. I'm thinking of joking a Discord server of some kind to see if I can find anyone who knows more about the game. I'm also going to watch some videos on Splatoon 1, but sadly there are little informational videos I can find of it, so if you know anyone who makes competitive Splatoon 1 videos than please let me know! Enperries Competitive page

Hello NewSquidbeakSplatoon I wanna clarify why I did my edits and why they shouldn't have been reverted. The image being a promo render is because of consistency. Most other competitive pages have the render and not the icon. Just because you think it looks bad doesn't mean you can just change it. If the weapon doesn't have a render then yeah we can use it, but this does have one. Also on your abbreviations, do you have any source or reference to it? I've never heard anybody say Gold Splats and that is too long to be used as a call-out since call outs are meant to be short quick things to say. ChessMaster [TALK] 16:42, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

Well about the abbrevs, those are real. I can't provide a source, but I've heard them in competitive play, and now use them myself. About the promo renders, I do really find them ugly, and I might to a Request For Rights or something similar, not sure, to get it changed to the actual renders, because I strongly dislike them.
