Friday vs. Saturday vs. Sunday is an upcoming Splatfest event exclusive to the The Americas, Australia and New Zealand, Europe and Hong Kong and South Korea regions in Splatoon 3. It is the second Splatfest to take place during Chill Season 2023 and was announced on social networks on 1 February 2024.[1]

The Japan region exclusive Red Bean Paste vs. Custard vs. Whipped Cream Splatfest will take place concurrently with this Splatfest.

Details

This is the second Splatfest in Splatoon 3 to differ by region: players who have selected the The Americas, Australia and New Zealand, Europe or Hong Kong and South Korea region are able to participate in this Splatfest as a combined group, whereas players who have selected the Japan region instead are able to participate in the Red Bean Paste vs. Custard vs. Whipped Cream Splatfest, which will be held at the same time.

Trivia

  • The astronomical objects represented on the calendars in the official artwork each correlate to the different teams. Venus represents Friday (as in the name of the day in Romance languages), Saturn represents Saturday, and the Sun represents Sunday.
  • On the official artwork, the first calendar representing team Friday has no sheets torn off, the second calendar representing team Saturday has one sheet torn off, signifying the next day after Friday, and the third calendar representing team Sunday has two sheets torn off, signifying the second day after Friday.
