It's no longer possible to show Splatoon 1 stage rotations, since there's no longer a source of real-time rotation data (as Nintendo shut down the original SplatNet service for Splatoon 1 on September 30, 2017). --Kaioora (talk) 19:34, 27 January 2019 (UTC)

There is a bot on twitter that uploads Splatoon 1 maps in real time (see @Splatoon1Maps) but I have no idea how it works, and I don't know if it's able to show future rotations. Real-life references in Octo Expansion levels

You might already have noticed, but the stations in the Octo Expansion have references to real-life toys and other stuff. My idea was to put these references in the trivia section of each station's page, but I don't recognize most by name. I've found a Splatoon fan that named all these references, but unfortunately, they are in Japanese, and I can't understand it. So my question is, can someone read Japanese and give the English name of these references, or does someone recognize them by name? I leave the link to this fan's twitter post below.

Murch & Sean ability tips

I have a few ideas about what to do with the tips (when they come out):

• We could put each tip in a quote section
• We could put it in the trivia
• We could put it in the description, with some words omitted

• If one of the sentences was 'I like cake and chocolate cake' we could omit 'cake and'.

Spoiler alert on main page

I have a recollection that I asked this somewhere before, but since we are no longer adding spoiler alerts on every page, I think it would be decent to have a general disclaimer on the main page, so that users are warned. Incorrect Splatfest Info

The main page says that the Splatfest is over, but the game says that it will be going on for another day. Can somebody please fix this? Warriorking98 (talk)

Just to be clear, anyone is welcome to make reasonable updates and additions to the news and Splatfest modules that show up on the main page. Small change

There must be significant interest in a Spanish language wiki before one could be set up. I suggest making the translated pages in your userspace first, and then maybe a Spanish wiki can be set up if there's interest. To create a userspace page, you would create a page like "User:Mikolapizero/Page title" for each page you are translating. Heddy (talk) 21:36, 23 July 2019 (UTC)

Should we remove the Splatfest section?

Since there's no more Splatfests happening in Splatoon 2, there's no reason to have the Splatfest section there anymore.

Hi there! If you ever want to create a new page, simply type the title you want to make into either the site's search bar or your browser's address bar. According to my switch online app, the salmon run schedule is a few hours off. Mini Changes

Hey there! The reason that the Splatfest schedule hasn't been updated is because we don't know if Super Mushroom vs. Super Star will be the next Splatfest as another could happen before January. For the second point, I had honestly left "Stay fresh!" there as a signing off thing not realising it was actually supposed to be an image caption but I'll change that now. I think SplatNet 2 is more relevant to the main game than the manga which is more of a side project so I'd avoid removing SplatNet 2 if we are going for an even look. I think there's a lot of cleaning to do with the manga area. (with the trivia section, with adding information about more recent chapters, adding dates of issues, etc...). The characters' articles are also still stub and empty (Army, etc...). It is possible to reach the Manga from the sidebar so I'd work on that before adding the Manga to the main page. 08:00, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

I'm definitely not in favor of adding a single side project of Sankichi Hinodeya which is basically merch to the main page. It's like adding Tower Records or Bandai Weapons Collection. At the moment the tool we use to show the date automatically takes the current year and uses it, so December 46 becomes January 15. However, this will fail to work if you do not have JavaScript enabled, which I imagine is the case for you. I'm not sure if we'll be able to fix it for now so I apologise for the inconvenience.
