Should we add a page on the Octarian Domes? I'm not sure whether or not it would be needed other than giving descriptions to the different variants in Splatoon 2 and the Octo Expansion. Any ideas?

If you mean the green color, all you have to do is create your userpage! Just click your nick, click create and type anything you want! User:FunPL/Sig 05:50, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
Just change YourUsername to Calamarie and make sure to check the box that says Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)User:FunPL/Sig 15:08, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
When I try to paste a very long string in to the signature field, it doesn’t get the whole string in, I’m trying to paste the following:
<span style="color:deeppink;text-shadow:purple 0px 0px 3px">InklingFixer</span> <span style="color:limegreen;text-shadow:green 0px 0px 3px;font-size:12pt">talk</span>
If the string of characters has a bug where it won’t all get in to the text box, create a user template with the name: User:YourUsername/Sig. Replace “YourUsername” with your username. Paste the signature into the user template and then go to preferences and change your signature to the following: . Check out User:InklingPro/Sig for an example. Video Upload Help
Latest comment: 6 November 20192 comments1 person in discussion
On the Modes page, there is a section that I made myself that features 2 videos of unused modes explanations. Unfortunately, one of the videos has been removed from Youtube, and the only other suitable one is from the same content maker as the other video, and Inkipedia dosen't seem to like it when I put 2 videos by the same maker onto 1 page (one video gets removed). Can anyone help? --Splatanatalkcontribs17:50, 18 October 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
What do you mean that the video gets removed? Can you create an example page showing it? User:FunPL/Sig 15:08, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
Does anyone know how to rip the Splatoon 2 Octo Canyon Level Icons? I'm not exactly capable at ripping sprites or models from games but was wondering if someone else could? ZBroadcast (talk) 7:54, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
If you mean mem cakes, go here If you mean level number icons, I'm 99% sure that those aren't images and are simple text with styling in the layout. I'll check soon how it looks like in the game files. User:FunPL/Sig 20:01, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
Ah, woops. It's not your fault, I don't know why I assumed that you meant Octo Expansion. Here are the files: ExternalOn wiki. Freshly ripped User:FunPL/Sig 11:09, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

So, on the Salmon Run page it mentions that during random rare rotations: "special music plays". I'm wondering, which track is this special music? If it's not a track in Squidbeats 2, then we should at least have an audio file of it. Splatanatalkcontribs10:03, 13 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Barnsquids were awards that were given to editors and could be displayed on their user page. Barnsquids as an award have been discontinued, but you can still add them to your user page. Just go to this page and follow the instructions. Splatanatalkcontribs08:41, 27 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Inkipedia Newsline
Latest comment: 11 February 20206 comments5 people in discussion
So I was flicking through the old Ink Pump archives and found a post about something called "Inkipedia Newsline". It seemed to have been broadly accepted by everyone as a good idea, but was never implemented. So, now that the wiki is settling down and waiting for Splatoon 3, could we add it? ( The original post about it is on the 7th Ink Pump archive page and is called "Inkipedia World") Splatanatalkcontribs08:53, 27 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Personally, I think this would be an excellent idea that I would be more than willing to contribute to. The issue would be getting a full team of people to do the same every month, and getting a big enough readership to make it worthwhile... GloverMist (talk)12:17, 27 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Same goes for me as GloverMist. I'd love using this as an opportunity to flex my creative writing skills, and also I think it could be a good way to hold wiki-wide events (Inkipedia Splatfests, anyone?) but it really is just a matter of getting enough people on-board to actually make this happen, and from experience, Inkipedia isn't the most active wiki. But if enough people are up for it, then count me on board for sure! ShinyCelesteela (talk) 21:54, 28 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
We could put up a project on the project page for staff recruitment and put an article in the news section of the home page, though I'll need to get permission for both ideas.Splatanatalkcontribs09:06, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

So I was just wondering if anyone happens to have a render of a MALE AGENT 8. There seems to be a female Agent 8 ( my preferred version of agent 8 ) on this wiki, I checked the Fandom wiki...... OH! & google images......(sigh) thanks for reading

Editors here who are also on Nookipedia know that the golden leaf award is an award users give to other users to show recognition and respect, right? Why don’t we do something like that and call it the golden barnsquid award? Just an idea. Tell me what you think about that and why. £|_@|\/|€1232(Talk)16:40, 9 March 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Musicians
Latest comment: 5 May 20205 comments4 people in discussion
I think that a lot of the content we currently have on musicians can be streamlined.
Merge musicians into a single page, or more likely have pages by role/instrument.
The likes of Hiroaki Takeuchi for example don't have enough relevant information to warrant a full page. I'd say even the more major vocalists like Mari Kikuma don't either. The list of songs on her page are just ones her character sings in which can be easily gathered.
The gallery on Mari's page has a bunch of images that aren't relevant either. I'd arguably say that only the recording ones are ones we'd keep.
Have all images of musicians in a singular musicians category, which will also have the aforementioned merged pages in it. The current system of having a category for every instrument seems unnecessary to me.
Please share any opinions you have on the matter so we can hopefully come to a good system.
Couldn't agree more, to be honest! Putting images and categories and pages all over the place seems a bit much, no matter how much it is worthwhile. I especially agree with merging individual pages into ones per role, though maybe keeping separate pages for major voice actors? GloverMist (talk)16:10, 3 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I guess if anyone is worthy of a page it'd be the VAs for the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook since they do a lot of talking and singing. 16:13, 3 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That would make sense as well since people aren't going to be searching for the name of the Chirpy Chips vocalist for example, but they might search for ones for Off the Hook or the Squid Sisters. Splatanatalkcontribs08:41, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm glad I've already been seeing some cleaning up being done around here with regard to artists. I've always felt weirded out how their personal pictures have been used but didn't really feel like it was my place to actively exclude them (and honestly part of the reason why I've been making individual pages for the concerts is because of how the musician galleries made me realize how bloaty the live performances page had gotten). AROWANA CASTLE?
Latest comment: 7 May 20201 comment1 person in discussion
So. I noticed that there is barely anything on the wiki about Arowana Castle. It is referenced by Sunken Scrolls & Captain Cuttlefish, but no page for it?
I would like something on Arowana Castle please.
Note: There is nothing on the wiki about Arowana Castle except minor references.
