*This part shares a few similarities with the Escape part of [[Octo Expansion]]:
**Both parts are a series of continious missions leading to the Final Boss of the respective modes.
**The player starts both sections without their main weapon and has to get them later. In [[Octo Expansion]], the player does not have their side weapon either at the very beginning.
**Both parts have a section ([[Diaphragm Phase]] and [[The Spirit Lifter: First Class]]) that provides unlimited use of a particular special weapon ([[Inkjet]] and [[Zipcaster]]).
**Both of these sequences feature two songs written by the game's main idol group, playing throughout every section except the first one and the last two.
**[[The Spirit Lifter: Steerage]] is the first mission to feature [[Fuzzy Ooze]] in the mission, which only appears in the main maps otherwise.
