Rollers are one of the three Main Weapon classifications in Splatoon. The roller has a wide range in painting capability, being able to cover large areas near the player. It is an ideal weapon for Inking on the go, and also has a short-ranged Ink-flinging attack.

List of Rollers

  • The Splat Roller Series
  • The Dynamo Series
    • Dynamo Roller – A slower, more powerful roller. While its Ink-flinging attack is slower than that of the Splat Roller, along with a slower rolling speed, it makes up for these with wider turf coverage while rolling and a larger range for flinging Ink. Comes with Sprinklers and the Echolocator.
    • Gold Dynamo Roller – Has the same stats as the Dynamo Roller but comes with Splat Bombs and the Inkstrike.
  • The Carbon Series
  • The Inkbrush Series
    • Inkbrush – A much faster "roller." It moves exceptionally quick, but has a thinner coverage. Instead of flinging Ink, the Inkbrush swipes repeatedly, covering areas in horizontal stripes of Ink. It comes with Sprinklers and the Inkstrike.
  • The Octobrush Series

Octobrush – Is very similar in playstyle to the Inkbrush, but has a slower speed in exchange for better ink coverage and damage output. It comes in a set with Squid Beakons and the Kraken.
