Gear vs. Grub vs. Fun was a Splatfest event in Splatoon 3. It was the first Splatfest event to be held in the full game, as the previous one, Rock vs. Paper vs. Scissors, was exclusive to the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere. It was announced on 13 September 2022 in a Nintendo Direct. It was held in all regions.

Details

The theme for this Splatfest is what to bring to a deserted island. The full name of each choice is "I'm Team Gear on the deserted island!", "I'm Team Grub on the deserted island!", and "I'm Team Fun on the deserted island!". The short name of each choice is Gear, Grub, and Fun. Hammerhead Bridge was the stage playable in Tricolor Turf War during this Splatfest.
