Grass vs. Fire vs. Water is an upcoming Splatfest event for Splatoon 3. It was announced on social networks on 7 October 2022, and will be held globally from 12 November 2022 to 14 November 2022. This is the third Splatfest in the Splatoon series to be themed around the Pokémon franchise, with the others being Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Green.
Details
This Splatfest will be a celebration of the upcoming release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which will be launching roughly 1 week after the Splatfest on 18 November 2022.
In the Pokémon series, aspiring Trainers often have a choice between three Starter Pokémon, and choose one to accompany them as they start their adventure. Trainers choose between a Grass type, Fire type, and Water type Pokémon, with those of different types having various strengths and weaknesses against each other.

- The weapons shown in the official art correlate to the Pokémon types in the Splatfest.
- The Bamboozler 14 Mk I is based on a piece of bamboo, which is a plant like most grass-type Pokémon.
