Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Green[1] was a collaboration Splatfest event in Splatoon. It was held for Japan only. It was announced on 11 February 2016. The results were given on 20 February 2016.
Details
The Splatfest was held in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon video game series, with participants choosing between the video games Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green. A Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Blue Splatfest was held for non-Japan regions around the same time.
The three stages selected for this Splatfest were Urchin Underpass, Camp Triggerfish, and Museum d'Alfonsino.

- Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Green had the biggest point difference of any Splatfest in Splatoon, with a 146 point difference. It also had the highest win rate with 64%.
- The North American counterpart, Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Blue, also had the biggest point difference of a North American Splatfest, with a difference of 98 points.
