Roller Coasters vs. Water Slides was a Splatfest event in Splatoon. It was held for North America only. It was announced on 10 July 2015. The results were given on 19 July 2015.
Details
The full name of each choice was "I'd rather ride a ROLLER COASTER" and "I'd rather ride a WATER SLIDE". The team name portion of Splatfest titles was "Roller Coaster" and "Water Slide".
The three stages selected for this Splatfest were: Saltspray Rig, Port Mackerel, and Bluefin Depot.

Trivia
- About midway through the Roller Coasters vs. Water Slides Splatfest in North America, the colors became randomized for a few rounds instead of the standard purple vs. green before returning to normal.
- The theme of water slides for Inklings does not properly fit in the lore and physics of Splatoon, as they are immediately splatted upon contact with water.
- Text for a scrapped Japanese Splatfest, Western Japan vs. Eastern Japan (西日本 vs 東日本), was included with the data for this Splatfest as well as data for Marshmallows vs. Hot Dogs.
