This Splatfest was delayed for North America due to matchmaking issues with Japanese players.^[1]^[2] The original schedule for the event was from 20 June 2015 at 13:00 UTC for 24 hours, and some days later, it was revealed that it would be moved to 4 July 2015 at 07:00 UTC.

For North America, the three stages selected for this Splatfest were Urchin Underpass, Walleye Warehouse, Kelp Dome.
