Grass vs. Fire vs. Water is an upcoming Splatfest event for Splatoon 3. It was announced on social networks on October 7, 2022, and will be held globally from November 11, 2022 at 4 p.m. PT to November 13. This is the third Splatfest in the Splatoon series to be themed around the Pokémon franchise, with the others being Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Green.

Details

This Splatfest will be a celebration of the upcoming release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which will be launching roughly a week after the Splatfest on November 18, 2022.

In the Pokémon series, aspiring Trainers often have a choice between three Starter Pokémon, and choose one to accompany them as they start their adventure. Trainers choose between a Grass type, Fire type, and Water type Pokémon, with those of different types having various strengths and weaknesses against each other.
