Shivery Squidkid III

The Shivery Squidkid III are a pair of shoes in Splatoon 3.

They are a 2-star item produced by Enperry and come with the primary ability Sub Power Up. It is available from the Switch News channel as a promotion for the Baby Chicks vs. Li'l Bunnies vs. Bear Cubs Splatfest. They cannot be ordered from another player.

Appearance

The Shivery Squidkid III are black basketball shoes with blue velcro straps with the Enperry logo crossing on the front, subjected by two black metal pieces. The midsole is white, and the outer sole is gray. They also have a red, blue, and white fish-like pattern on the side with two blue arrows as a tail, as well as the Enperry logo on the tongue in those same colors and part of it branded in the heel tab.

Abilities

The Shivery Squidkid III come with Sub Power Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Shivery Squidkid III come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of them from Crush Station for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since they are made by the Enperry gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Sub Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
