Trivia

  • At just Cash 300, the Blue Slip-Ons are the cheapest purchasable gear with Bomb Range Up and Sub Power Up and are tied with the Red Slip-Ons for the cheapest purchasable shoes. They are tied with the Red Slip-Ons, Sunny-Day Tee and Rainy-Day Tee for cheapest Krak-On gear, and tied with the Red Slip-Ons, Sunny Day Tee, Rainy Day Tee, B-ball Headband and Tennis Headband for cheapest purchasable gear overall in Splatoon, but not Splatoon 2, because of the Swim Goggles.
  • In late July 2017, the Blue Slip-Ons accidentally appeared in SplatNet 2 with Ninja Squid as an ability, which is normally only allowed on Clothing.
    • A similar mistake has also happened for the Blue Slip-Ons, where at one point they would appear in SplatNet2 with Swim Speed Up, which is normally impossible since that is the favored ability of the Krak-On brand.
