Blue & Black Squidkid III

The Blue & Black Squidkid III are a pair of shoes in Splatoon 3.

They are a 0-star item produced by Enperry and come with the primary ability Stealth Jump. They must first be unlocked through leveling up the Drizzle Season 2023 Catalog to level 7, then they can be purchased from Crush Station for 1,200. They can only be ordered from another player after being unlocked.

Appearance

The Blue & Black Squidkid III are light gray basketball shoes with black straps crossing on the front and coming together at the heel, subjected by two metal pieces similarly colored. The midsole is white, and the outer sole is light blue. They also have a fish-like pattern on the side made up of different shades of blue, as well as the Enperry logo on the tongue in those same colors.

Abilities

The Blue & Black Squidkid III comes with Stealth Jump as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Shoes, prevents the wearer from also having Drop Roller or Object Shredder. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 0-star item, the Blue & Black Squidkid III comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Crush Station for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Enperry gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Sub Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
