Pro Trail Boots
The Pro Trail Boots are a pair of shoes in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, they are a 3-star item produced by Inkline and come with the primary ability Bomb Sniffer.
They can be purchased from Shrimp Kicks for 
9,800.
In Splatoon 2, they are a 3-star item produced by Inkline and come with the primary ability Ink Resistance Up.
They can be purchased from Shella Fresh for 
9,800 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 14,700.
In Splatoon 3, they are a 2-star item produced by Inkline and come with the primary ability Ink Resistance Up.
They can be obtained through leveling up the Sizzle Season 2023 catalog to level 31, or they can be purchased from Crush Station for 
9,800 from SplatNet 3 Shop for 14,700.
Appearance
The Pro Trail Boots are black and dark gray hiking boots, with lighter gray squares on the sides and sky blue laces. On the tongue is what appears to be very small Inkling text in yellow-green. The soles are black and feature a yellow arrow pattern, with the Inkline logo seen on small tag above the heel. The boots come with dark brown socks that just poke over the top.
Splatoon
The Pro Trail Boots debuted in Splatoon at release.
Abilities
The Pro Trail Boots come with Bomb Sniffer as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Shoes, prevents the wearer from also having Ink Resistance Up or Stealth Jump. As a 3-star item, the Pro Trail Boots come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Inkline gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Defense Up and a lower chance of rolling Damage Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
Splatoon 2
The Pro Trail Boots return in Splatoon 2 at release.

When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 3-star item, the Pro Trail Boots come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Inkline gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Bomb Defense Up DX and a lower chance of rolling Main Power Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
Splatoon 3

The Pro Trail Boots return in Splatoon 3 in Sizzle Season 2023 in version 4.0.0.
Abilities
The Pro Trail Boots come with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 2-star item, the Pro Trail Boots come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of them from Crush Station for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since they are made by the Inkline gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Sub Resistance Up and a lower chance of rolling Intensify Action to fill their secondary ability slots.
