Trooper Power Stripes
The Trooper Power Stripes are a pair of shoes in Splatoon 2.
They are a 3-star item produced by Takoroka and come with the primary ability Sub Power Up.
They were released via the Splatoon 2 Switch News channel as a promotion for the Hare vs. Tortoise Splatfest. They can also be purchased from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 
14,400.
Appearance
The Trooper Power Stripes are gray Hi-Top shoes with cyan, cream and purple stripes running down the side and glowing cyan circles on the outside of the sole. The tongue has the Takoroka logo in a circle.
Splatoon 2
The Trooper Power Stripes debuted in Splatoon 2 as promotional gear for the Hare vs. Tortoise Splatfest. They released on 15 April 2019.
Abilities
The Trooper Power Stripes come with Sub Power Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 3-star item, the Trooper Power Stripes come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Takoroka gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Power Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
