Takoroka Visor
The Takoroka Visor is headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 3-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Quick Super Jump. It can be purchased from Headspace for 7,500 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 11,250.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 2-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Quick Super Jump. It can be purchased from Naut Couture for 7,500 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for 11,250.
Appearance
The Takoroka Visor is a black tennis visor worn backwards. On the bill is a pink stitched Takoroka logo, and on the back is a brown leather strap.
Splatoon 2
The Takoroka Visor debuted in Splatoon 2 at release.
Abilities
The Takoroka Visor comes with Quick Super Jump as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Takoroka Visor comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Takoroka gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Power Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
Splatoon 3
The Takoroka Visor returns in Splatoon 3's Drizzle Season 2022 in version 1.1.0. Prior to its release, it appeared in a Splatoon 3 promotional image.
Abilities
The Takoroka Visor comes with Quick Super Jump as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Takoroka Visor comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Takoroka gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Power Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
