ZedFry Helmet
The ZedFry Helmet is headgear in Splatoon 3.
It is a 2-star item produced by Z+F and comes with the primary ability Last-Ditch Effort.
It must first be unlocked through leveling up the Fresh Season 2023 catalog to level 65, then it can be purchased from Naut Couture for 
8,000. It can only be ordered from another player after being unlocked.
Appearance
The ZedFry Helmet is a round helmet resembling the Skate Helmet, with the primary differences being a racing stripe along the middle of the helmet and designs on the sides featuring Z+F's mascot ZedFry. Specifically, there are three ZedFrys visible: a standard front-facing design on the right side, standing in a pile of the blue star logos present on many Z+F gear, a view of ZedFry lying supine on top of a pile of the star logos on the right side, and finally a smaller prone ZedFry lying on the Z+F wordmark on the rear of the helmet. Its main color also changes to match the wearer's current ink color, while the colors of the designs adorning it remain the same.
When displayed in a locker in Splatoon 3, this gear is placed on a black mannequin head.

Abilities
The ZedFry Helmet comes with Last-Ditch Effort as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Comeback, Opening Gambit, or Tenacity. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the ZedFry Helmet comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Z+F gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Saver and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
