Bream-Brim Cap
The Bream-Brim Cap is headgear in Splatoon 3.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 0-, 1-, or 2-star item produced by Grizzco and comes with a random primary ability generated when it is received. It is only available as a reward from Salmon Run Next Wave as the monthly gear for September 2022 or in a Pink Capsule. It cannot be ordered through Murch.
Appearance
The Bream-Brim Cap is an iridescent cap. It has a sticker on the brim. The cap can be rotated to instead face backwards using the 'Adjust Gear' feature.

Abilities
The Bream-Brim Cap comes with a random primary ability that can also appear as secondary abilities, which prevents the wearer from having Comeback, Last-Ditch Effort, Opening Gambit, or Tenacity as they are exclusive to Headgear and cannot appear as secondary abilities. This primary ability is assigned randomly when the item is received. As a 2-star item, the Bream-Brim Cap comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Grizzco gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.

- This is one of 3 pieces of Grizzco headgear that potentially resemble costumes seen in the Back to the Future series, the others being the Lo-Vis Visor and the Brain Strainer.
- Bream (pronounced /ˈbrɪm/) is a term referring to several species of freshwater fish. The name of this piece of headgear is a pun on the name of the fish and the word for a projection of stiff material from the bottom of a hat's crown, brim.
