Barrelfish Home Helmet
The Barrelfish Home Helmet is headgear in the Splatoon series.
It is a 1-star item produced by Forge and comes with the primary ability Run Speed Up. It must first be unlocked through leveling up the Sizzle Season 2023 catalog to level 5, then it can be purchased from Naut Couture for 3,500. It can only be ordered from another player after being unlocked.
Appearance
The Barrelfish Home Helmet is a licensed baseball helmet. The front displays the team's symbol resembling an inverted letter B in Gothic script. The rest is covered in various logos and designs, like the Forge wordmark on the brim, a sports label on the back between two baseball designs (the left featuring the SquidForce logo and the right featuring the Anarchy Battle logo), a number resembling 58 above, and a thicker metal logo on the back near the nape. The helmet is partly asymmetric and changes the color to match the wearer's Ink.

Abilities
The Barrelfish Home Helmet comes with Run Speed Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 1-star item, the Barrelfish Home Helmet comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Man-o'-Wardrobe for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 2 stars will add another secondary ability slot for a total of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Forge gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill its secondary ability slot.

Translation notes
- ↑ Strepers is a made-up team-like name. It may be a reference to the striped beakfish—which is also mentioned in the Japanese name—the stripes of baseball kits, and/or the stripes of military ranks.
