Squidlife Headphones
The Squidlife Headphones are headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon 2, they are a 3-star item produced by Forge and come with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up. They can be purchased from Headspace for 7,070 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 10,605.
In Splatoon 3, they are a 2-star item produced by Forge and come with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up. They can be purchased from Naut Couture for 7,070 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for 10,605.
Appearance
The Squidlife Headphones are a pair of headphones with small orange speakers attached. Said speakers don't completely cover the wearer's ears like some of the other headphones, but instead fold them backward and pin them against the side of the head. The headphones themselves are made out of grey metal strips and have black clips connecting the strips to one another.

Abilities
The Squidlife Headphones come with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Squidlife Headphones come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Forge gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill their secondary ability slots.
Splatoon 3
The Squidlife Headphones appear in a promotional render for Splatoon 3.

Trivia
- This gear may be a reference to the pair of headphones included with the Famicom S.D. Station. They have a similar color and style, and there are other instances of Famicom accessories appearing or being referenced in Splatoon.
- It should be noted, however, that the Famicom S.D. Station was a third party accessory created by Hori, unlike other Famicom accessories that have been referenced that were created by Nintendo. Thus, the headphones' similar appearance may only be a coincidence.
- This gear's housing and gimbals resemble the classic button design on headphones from Grado Labs, and the headband and adjustment blocks resemble the Porta Pro line from Koss.
