Fugu Bell Hat

The Fugu Bell Hat is headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 2-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Quick Respawn.
It can be purchased from Headspace for 
1,700 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 3,400.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 1-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Quick Respawn.
It can be purchased from Naut Couture for 
1,700 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for 3,400.
Appearance
The Fugu Bell Hat is a pair of Blowfish Bell Hats stacked on top of each other. The bottom hat changes color to match the player's ink color, and the top hat is black and has a tiny, white and black version of the 
Firefin logo on the front.

Abilities
The Fugu Bell Hat comes with Quick Respawn as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Fugu Bell Hat comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Firefin gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slots.

The Fugu Bell Hat comes with Quick Respawn as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 1-star item, the Fugu Bell Hat comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 2 stars will add another secondary ability slot for a total of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Firefin gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

- Prior to its Splatoon 3 release in Fresh Season 2024, the Fugu Bell Hat was briefly seen in the Splatoon 3 announcement trailer during the pan of Splatsville, without the Firefin logo.
