The Squid Clip-Ons are headgear in Splatoon 2.
They are a 2-star item produced by amiibo and come with the primary ability Opening Gambit. They are only available from the Inkling Girl amiibo. They cannot be ordered through Murch.

Appearance

The Squid Clip-Ons are clip-on earrings bearing the "2" from the Splatoon 2 logo. The fronts are pink and the backs are neon green, both in a shiny texture, with a layer of white in between. The fasteners, which can be seen from the back, are a metallic gray. When worn by a female, the earrings come in a pair and are worn on the lower part of both ears. When worn by a male, there is only one earring, worn on the upper part of the left ear.

Abilities

The Squid Clip-Ons come with Opening Gambit as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Comeback, Last-Ditch Effort, or Tenacity. As a 2-star item, the Squid Clip-Ons have two additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the amiibo brand, they have equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
