Bike Helmet
The Bike Helmet(NA)[a] or Cycle Helmet(EU/OC)[b], is headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 3-star item produced by Skalop and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up.
It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 
11,000.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 2-star item produced by Skalop and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up.
It can be purchased from Headspace for 
4,800 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 9,600.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 1-star item produced by Skalop and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up.
It can be purchased from Naut Couture for 
4,800 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for 9,600.
Appearance
The Bike Helmet is a traditional foam helmet used for professional and recreational biking. It has many angled holes on its plastic surface, which changes color to match that of the wearer's ink. Its underside and the chinstrap securing it to the wearer's head are both black.
When displayed in a Locker in Splatoon 3, this gear is placed on a black mannequin head.

Abilities
The Bike Helmet comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability. As a 3-star item, the Bike Helmet comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Skalop gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver to fill its secondary ability slots.
Splatoon 2

The Bike Helmet comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Bike Helmet comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Skalop gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver to fill its secondary ability slots.

Abilities
The Bike Helmet comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 1-star item, the Bike Helmet comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 2 stars will add another secondary ability slot for a total of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Skalop gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver to fill its secondary ability slot.
