Red & White Squidkid III

The Red & White Squidkid III are a pair of shoes in Splatoon 3.

They are a 0-star item produced by Enperry and come with the primary ability Swim Speed Up. They must first be unlocked through leveling up the Drizzle Season 2023 catalog to level 25, then they can be purchased from Crush Station for 1,200. They can only be ordered from another player after being unlocked.

Appearance

The Red & White Squidkid III are gray basketball shoes with white velcro straps with the Enperry logo crossing on the front, subjected by two black metal pieces. The midsole is white, and the outer sole is cream. They also have a red, purple, and orange fish-like pattern on the side with two black arrows as a tail, as well as the Enperry logo on the tongue in those same colors and part of it branded in the heel tab.

Abilities

The Red & White Squidkid III comes with Swim Speed Up as the primary ability. As a 0-star item, the Red & White Squidkid III comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Crush Station for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Enperry gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Sub Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
