The Marination Lace-Ups are a pair of shoes in the Splatoon series.
They are a 3-star item produced by Zekko and come with the primary ability Special Power Up.
They were released via the Splatoon 2 Switch News channel as a promotion for the Hare vs. Tortoise Splatfest. They can also be purchased from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 
12,027.
Appearance
The Marination Lace-Ups are forest-green shoes with goldenrod laces, brown soles, visible white stitching, and a purple interior. A white Zekko logo can be seen on the tongue.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Marination Lace-Ups come with Special Power Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 3-star item, the Marination Lace-Ups come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Zekko gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Saver and a lower chance of rolling Special Charge Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
